My name is Tessa, creator of Positively Luxe. I wanted to create and source fun dust bags and other useful accessories to protect, store and organize your designer goods for the part of the Luxe Lady that lives in all of us—the one who loves her bags & shoes and wants to keep them safe. Here is the backstory on Positively Luxe…

Let’s go back twenty-one years ago… eight-year-old Tessa’s net worth was $200. Why? Because it was Christmas morning! My parents (who are incredibly hard workers and always made sure we had a great holiday), as well as Santa, decided “Hey, we should let our children pick their Christmas gifts this year!”

After I opened my gift and saw two crisp one-hundred dollar bills, I turned to my mom, immediately, and said, “Mom, take me to Nordstrom!”
“Why?” my mom asked curiously.
“Because I want to buy my first Juicy Couture bag (duh)!”

Soon I found myself, surrounded by the sweet smell of Nordstrom, and I was carrying out my very first luxury purchase: a black Juicy bag!
But my love of luxe didn’t stop there.

Soon, a velour tracksuit was to follow, then of course, a charm bracelet. Over the years, I’ve bought more bags and shoes at price tags a bit higher than $200. Each time I treated myself to something, I worked extremely hard for the items, and saved for them for quite a while.

Every time I purchased a luxe item, I always thought about preserving it’s quality, the resale values and buying vintage and not boutique fresh. In doing so, I have a collection of beautiful bags and shoes but not all of them came with dust bags (like my beautiful black Juicy bag).

As I searched around online, I found the basic ones (like what you see on Amazon) to be quite sub-par. They did not have great material required to keep leather bags safe, and—they were simply not cute! So I went on a journey of creating and sourcing bags that are high quality, versatile, and fun! That’s how it started and Positively Luxe is how it’s going.

Positively Luxe provides great, high quality and underrated solutions for traveling and keeping your closet safe and organized. (I spent some time traveling myself and used plastic bags to store my dirty clothes. It wasn’t cute. I wanted a laundry bag for on-thego. I wanted to organize my suitcase and store my handbags and shoes I worked hard for the right way.) So whether you are the Luxe Lady that just needs to keep track of your dirty vs. clean laundry (and you are also tired of using a plastic bag you got at the grocery store), or you just bought your first vintage bag and need a nice dust bag for it— or maybe you are looking to protect your bag from the rain and prevent your shoes from losing it’s shape—Positively Luxe is your shop.
